GIZ India’s project ClimateSmart Cities (CSC) , in collaboration with the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA), organized a two-day training on “Sustainable management of Construction and Demolition Waste” from 11th-12th April.
The training was part of the ClimateSmart Cities: Sustainable Built Environment Series and is aligned with the ClimateSmart Cities Assessment Framework (CSCAF) launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).
The training was attended by Dr. Binu Francis, JD Urban Affairs Kerala, Corporation Secretary Thiruvananthapuram, and Mr. Bijoy Executive Engineer on behalf of the Kozhikode Corporation Secretary, Kerala Municipal Corporation. Both the dignitaries presided over discussions as part of the training.
This was one of the many trainings carried out by GIZ with the Kerala Institute of Local Administration, for upscaling and capacity building purposes.
