German Ambassador's Visit to Bhubaneswar, Odisha

The German Ambassador to India, His Excellency Walter J. Lindner, visited the Climate Smart Cities project location related to storm water management in the Nayapalli Area close to ISKCON temple in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on 1st September 2021. During the visit he interacted with officials from Bhubaneswar Municipal Cooperation, reaffirming the commitment between the Government of Germany and the state of Odisha towards climate resilient urban development. The GIZ-Climate Smart Cities (CSC) project is providing technical support through various innovative methods like urban design thinking with support of TU Berlin and digital solutions for stormwater management and construction and demolition waste management to the city of Bhubaneshwar.
